EcoBot is not reachable from the public internet. An NPEC-issued OpenVPN profile and a server-issued experiment link are required before the app can display operational data. A bundled read-only demo uses synthetic sample data only.

The EcoBot Server determines which experiments, Ecotrons, media, and controls each credential may access. The iPhone cannot expand those permissions.

Every controller write is reviewed, authenticated with Face ID or the device passcode, revalidated by the server, and checked against live controller readback and restoration safeguards.
Access
The App Store download and synthetic read-only demo are free. Operational access is issued separately for the duration and scope of an approved experiment. EcoBot does not sell access, include advertising, or offer in-app purchases.
